BEFORE YOUR TEAM STARTS

A clear setup and a clear scope.

Prepare your workflow

  1. Prepare items, work centres, material recipes, routings and the relevant cost settings.
  2. Agree material issue, output quality and inspection rules.
  3. Confirm posting and accounting setup before relying on production-linked financial entries.

Understand the current scope

Planned: automatic stock movements for scrap and return-to-vendor nonconformance dispositions. Current status recording for those decisions should be followed by the separately authorised stock workflow.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you get started

What is a bill of materials?

It is the material recipe for a product. A routing describes the operations used to make it. Together they give planning and shop-floor teams a common starting point.

Can an order be paused or reorganised?

The order workflow includes supported hold, resume, copy, split and merge actions. Eligibility depends on the state and existing work on the order.

Does an inspection result always move stock?

No. Receipt and quality rules govern eligible stock posting. Some nonconformance dispositions currently capture the decision only; the page labels their remaining stock integration.
