BEFORE YOUR TEAM STARTS

A clear setup and a clear scope.

Prepare your workflow

  1. Set up customer and item records, pricing and the relevant tax settings.
  2. Choose approvers and configure the email sender and PDF branding.
  3. Enable Inventory and Receivables access for dispatch and billing handoffs.

Understand the current scope

Order approval, shipment posting and invoice approval are distinct steps. Each follows its own permissions and checks; a customer accepting a quotation does not complete delivery or billing.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you get started

Can we start a quotation from CRM?

Yes. The CRM deal workflow can raise a quotation, and the Sales quotation workflow supports the connected review and order handoff.

Can a customer review a quotation without signing in?

The supported public quotation link lets a customer review and accept a quotation. The organisation controls the link and can rotate or revoke it.

Does creating an order also issue an invoice?

Shipment and invoice actions are separate. Accounts Receivable supports the appropriate order or shipment billing workflow when that module and permissions are enabled.
